About me

The doctor behind the guidance

I have spent more than two decades treating what diabetes does to the body: circulation, chronic wounds and diabetic foot syndrome. My work has been dedicated throughout to preserving mobility, preventing limb loss and restoring quality of life.

I am Senior Consultant of the Department of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the Diakonie-Klinikum Stuttgart, where I also head the outpatient wound clinic. Before that I served as consultant at the Department of Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular Surgery of Ulm University Hospital, where I led the interdisciplinary wound group. More than two decades of German clinical practice stand behind every consultation.
